Dr. Monika Pogoda
Dr. Monika obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry, and subsequently completed her residency program at Queens Hospital Center. Her professional journey led her to practice full-time on Long Island. An early fascination with dentistry took root in Dr. Monika, sparked by her brother’s experience with a cleft lip. This personal connection fueled her lifelong aspiration: to restore her patients’ smiles, instilling them with the hope and confidence they rightfully deserve.
More than just an occupation, it’s her purpose. The sight of happiness and relief in her patients’ eyes upon regaining their smiles transcends the realm of work. Empathizing with the emotional and financial challenges her brother and parents encountered, it brings Dr. Monika great joy getting to know her patients, building relationships, and creating a space comfortable enough for her patients to open up.
Guided by her core values of compassion, transparency, integrity, and growth, Dr. Monika ensures her patients receive care that not only meets but exceeds their expectations. Beyond her professional commitments, she enjoys making new memories with her family and friends, engaging in winter sports, and exploring the beauty of other cultures.
