Since the year 1992, Dr. John Baker has been an integral part of the BDC family, specializing in the field of orthodontics. Driven by his personal experience of witnessing the transformative impact of orthodontics on his own oral health, he finds great pleasure in orthodontics. He enjoys that orthodontics is the perfect blend of bioengineering and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Baker’s enthusiasm is derived from creating not just beautiful smiles but also nurturing meaningful connections with his patients. His commitment lies in minimizing discomfort for those under his care, a commitment fueled by his and his wife’s past encounters with dental unease and trauma.
Incorporating his own journey, Dr. Baker places a strong emphasis on early intervention and preventive treatments. This approach has yielded remarkable success, even among his own children and other young patients referred to him at ages as early as 7 to 9 years old. In his service, Dr. Baker strives for perfection and never sacrifices ethics. It brings Dr. Baker true joy being able to change patients’ lives and self-esteem – helping someone smile confidently, who would never do so before.
Dr. Baker has many years of education and knowledge, having gone through 4 years of college, 4 years of an Ivy League dental school, and 2 years of an Ivy League Orthodontic school. He never loses sight of the fact that, “nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care!” His dedication to perfection is unwavering, always guided by a steadfast commitment to ethical practices. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Baker finds solace in fishing, boating, and vacationing with his family of six.
