Dr. Azin Tarifard is a certified Pediatric Dentist with a decade of experience dedicated to children’s dental health, including those with special needs.
Having graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in biology, Dr. Azin proceeded to pursue her dental education at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA, earning her DDS degree in 2006. Following a year of residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the same institution, she spent four years practicing as a general dentist. However, her true passion led her to focus on pediatric care. She embarked on a three-year pediatric dentistry program at Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, concurrently earning her Master of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Azin derives great satisfaction from teaching, a role that enables her to positively influence children’s dental experiences. She believes that fostering positive interactions with dentistry during childhood can profoundly impact future oral care. An active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association, Dr. Azin’s commitment extends beyond her practice.
During her leisure time, she relishes outdoor sports and activities, indulges in playing the piano, and cherishes moments spent with her husband, family, and friends. Notably, she earned recognition as the premier pediatric dentist in Boston from 2017 to 2020, as acknowledged by her peers.
