Director of Team Training & Development
Sally has been an integral part of Babylon Dental Care for more than four decades, dedicating herself to helping the practice grow, evolve, and deliver exceptional patient experiences. Over the years, she has held a variety of leadership roles, each one reflecting her deep commitment to our mission, vision, patients, our team members, and culture.
In the newly created position of Director of Team Training & Development, Sally will inaugurate the processes to design and support the implementation of our innovative, comprehensive training program which will support every facet of the practice. She will be collaborating with leadership to leverage her experience to identify opportunities, close knowledge gaps, and ensure that every staff member is confident in their role and is set up for success.
With unmatched professionalism, Sally embodies the values of enthusiasm and continuous growth. Her years of experience, combined with her passion for mentoring, make her a natural and trusted leader who is deeply committed to developing all Babylon Dental Care team members.
Her focus will be on building a true “Category of One” culture utilizing blended learning platforms, in-person workshops, and hands-on coaching to reinforce our core values and practice goals. Sally will spearhead initiatives such as a Call Service Training program, which will culminate in a certification for all team members to ensure an unparalleled patient experience.
Sally finds inspiration through mentoring gurus such as Gabby Bernstein, Brene Brown, and John Maxwell, all of whom resonate with her because of their focus on personal growth and, most importantly, service leadership, companioning others as they strive to be their best selves.
In her free time, Sally loves to spend time with her grandchildren who remind her every day that learning is a great and wondrous gift and that through child-like openness to what the universe offers us, we can grow to be the kind and giving people we are all called to be.
One of her favorite quotes is by John Lennon: “When I was 5 years old my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down “happy.” They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”
Education:
- Associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Tompkins Cortland Community College
- Bachelor’s degree in business management and economics
- SUNY Empire State University (awarded degree January 2024)
- Currently studying for a Master of Art in Adult Learning at SUNY Empire State University-estimated date of graduation December 2026
