I am a dental assistant at BDC. When I first started 10 years ago, my role was a backup assistant to help the assistants and doctors.  I can’t believe it’s been 10 years already!

How has your service evolved over the years while with BDC?

My service has evolved so much over these 10 years. I have learned and grown to become a skilled dental assistant and I get to be a part of treating patients like family.

What are things specific to your service that fill your tank as a professional and/or bring you joy?

Working with the BDC team brings me joy. Each person makes working at this office fun. We make a great team!

Working with my team makes me love coming to work every day. We are like a big family, and I love it. Everyone is always there for each other, and we are true team players, which inspires me.

What is something you find heartwarming about your service?

When a patient comes in for the treatment they need and they share their dental goals and needs with us, and they leave our office saying how much they love BDC or how comfortable they feel here, that’s the best feeling. It’s truly heartwarming.

Outside of BDC, what brings you joy in your personal life?

So many things bring me joy in my personal life, one thing being anything country!  I love country music, line dancing, concerts, all of it!  Also, I have an amazing group of family and friends around me that make my life so much better! I am blessed and thankful for the life I have.

Having had terrible experiences as a kid with dentistry I wasn't sure if the nice things I've heard and read would live up to my expectation.
