What is your role?
I am a Patient Coordinator, but I am in training to be a Hygiene Coordinator!
How has your service evolved over the year(s) while with BDC?
Throughout this year I have gained the knowledge to educate our patients on their treatment, also learning from my peers how to navigate our system efficiently.
What are things specific to your service that fill your tank as a professional?
I enjoy working with people. We are in the service industry so it fulfills me to know I can assist any patient in need.
Is there any specific story about either a patient interaction or with a team member that you would like to share that inspired or sticks with you as you continue to work with BDC?
It’s nice to see patients from when I first started at BDC. It is heartwarming that they are still so happy to see me when they come in.
Are there things that inspire you as a professional working with your team?
I am truly inspired every day by the team. The way that we all assist one another is one of a kind. It brings me comfort knowing that my team is supportive and is always ready to dive in and tackle anything the day brings us.
Do you have any professional goals for this coming year?
This year I am looking forward to completing my training as a Hygiene Coordinator and this new professional journey.
Outside of BDC, what brings you joy in your personal life?
What brings me joy outside of BDC is being with my daughters and my new grandson Travis. I love going to the beach and hanging out with my friends on their boats, and cooking for all of my peers!
