WEST BABYLON, NY – Babylon Dental Care was honored to once again offer free dental services to members of the Long Island community in need at our annual Care Day event held on October 10, 2021. Each year Babylon Dental Care offers a free dental cleaning or extraction to individuals who cannot afford dental care. This year more than 60 individuals who could not otherwise afford these procedures attended Care Day.
An estimated 74 million Americans have no dental insurance coverage. A survey by CareQuest Institute for Oral Health released in April 2021 found an estimated 6 million Americans lost their dental insurance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Babylon Dental Care recognizes that we have neighbors in need, and we strive to do our part to ease that burden.
“Our goal is to serve as many patients as we can on Care Day,” said Dr. Clifford Brown, who founded Babylon Dental Care. “I can’t even express how appreciative our Care Day patients are. It is incredibly rewarding to serve them.”
