Nitrous Oxide

Our office offers nitrous oxide (also referred to as “sweet air”) at no additional cost. All of our Babylon Dental Care doctors and hygienists are certified to administer nitrous oxide when needed.

Sedation Dentistry

We also offer sedation dentistry for patients who are very fearful or anxious of getting dental work completed. Conscious sedation allows you to fall asleep during your appointment while our dentists perform the treatment(s). A board certified anesthesiologist is available to administer IV sedation. When you wake up, you can enjoy your brand-new smile!

Nearly Pain-Free Injections

Throughout our several years of experience, we have learned several tips and tricks to make injections less painful for patients. When patients have negative dental experiences in the past, it is usually because they were not numb enough during their appointment(s).

Now, however, patients can look forward to quick, relatively pain-free injections by our dentists with the latest advancements in technology.

During routine teeth cleanings, we can also use a certain gel (called Oraqix®) that will help to relieve discomfort or sensitivity you experience. Additionally, our hygienists use the Cavitron®, which is a machine that helps minimize tissue trauma when using hand instruments to clean your teeth. This high-pressured water system will flush the gums in order to remove calculus from the teeth.

Also, when we catch cavities early on in their development, we may recommend micro-abrasion, a high-pressure baking soda mixture. No drilling or anesthesia is required for this procedure.
